Home School Programs

Once a month during the school year, Kaleideum North offers programs specifically for home-educated children and other groups too small to register for our regular classroom and auditorium programs. You must pre-register for these programs.

Kaleideum North also offers a wide variety of educational programs that correspond with North Carolina Essential Standards for Science. Download the new Kaleideum Educator’s Guide for more information.

2017-18 Program Registration

During 2017-18, the following Home School programs are offered at Kaleideum North. To ensure space, YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER FOR THESE PROGRAMS. Programs are limited to 20 students. Adults/parents may be asked to wait outside the classroom if the number of people inside exceeds capacity.

    Winston-Salem, NC 27105. Groups and families should check-in at Kaleideum North first.

 

Home School Admission* and Program Fees

 

Forsyth County

 

  • Student admission is $3. One parent is free; second parent is $5.50.
  • Instructor facilitated programs are $5.50 per child.

 

Outside Forsyth County

 

  • Student admission is $5.50. One parent is free; second parent is $5.50.
  • Instructor facilitated programs are $5.50 per child.

 

Please Note! These prices are in effect on any day that Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools are in session. On Saturdays, summer months, school holidays, snow days, and teacher work days, regular admission rates apply. Proper home school ID and proof of Forsyth County residency requireAll admission prices are subject to .675 NC sales tax.

 

*NC sales tax will be added to admission prices. Program fees are not taxed.
