Whether it’s watching planes take off at the airport or going as high as they can on their favorite swing, flying through the air inspires wonder in children. Now families can experience this wonder at SciWorks when the new “Take Flight” exhibit opens on October 1.
The new traveling exhibit is devoted to the creative exploration of flight. Families can try their hands at the Paper Airplane Launchers, the Hoverport, the Rocket Launcher and other flight experiences. The exhibit stimulates curiosity about what makes flight possible and offers fascinating explanations of the principles and forces involved.

- Evolution of Flight

In addition to “Take Flight,” SciWorks will have a Nano Mini-Exhibit. Visitors can learn the basics of nanoscience and engineering, discover real world applications, and explore the societal and ethical implications of this new technology in a bilingual, interactive exhibition. The Nono Mini-Exhibit runs through December 14, 2013.
